Sub-Department of Mining Registry

Under the authority of a Sub-Director, Sub-Department of Mining Cadastre is in charge of:
- The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of acts relating to mining titles;
- The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the quarrying permit;
- The processing of applications for renewal, extension, reduction, farmout, transfer of mining titles and quarries;
 - The development and updating of the national mining cadastral map;
 - The study of mortgage applications on mining titles and career;
 - Keeping and conservation of geological and mining cadastral documentation.

The Sub-Director of the Mining Registry is the registrar of titles and quarries.
 
It includes:
 - The Service of Mining Cadastral Mapping and Documentation
 - Services Mining Titles.

The Service of Mining Cadastral Mapping and Documentation

Under the authority of a Service Head, the Service of Mapping and Mining Cadastral Documentation is in charge of:
 
- The development and updating of the national mining and geological cadastral map;
- Monitoring of operations security perimeters mining titles;
- Digitization of mining and geological information;
- Keeping and conservation of geological and mining cadastral documentation,
- The provision of mining and geological spatial information.

It includes also the Head of Service, two (02) Engineering Studies.
 
Head of Department, the Department of Mining Titles

Under the authority of a Head of Department, the Department of Mining Titles is responsible for:

- The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of acts relating to mining titles and quarry permit;
- The processing of applications for authorization and preparation of documents relating to the exploitation of mineral water, spring water and thermo-mineral waters;
- The updating of various mining records;
- The investigation of extinction procedures mining titles to quarry permit,
- Notification of regulatory acts relating to mining titles and quarry permits.

It includes also the Head of Service, two (02) Engineering Studies.
