Sub-Department of Industrial Risks

Under the authority of a Sub-Director, the Sub-Department of Industrial Risk is in charge of:

- The administrative supervision and technical inspection of establishments classified as dangerous, unhealthy or, in terms of health, hygiene, safety and security, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
- Studies on the risks inherent in establishments classified as dangerous, unhealthy or obnoxious;
- Emergency Plans for Industrial risks, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;
- The examination of applications for approval of persons in control of dangerous, unhealthy or obnoxious;
 
- administrative supervision and technical inspection of pressure vessels and gas steam and lifting equipment, in terms of security, in conjunction with the authorities concerned;

- Approval of natural and legal persons checks, appraisals and inspections of pressure vessels and gas steam, lifting devices, and thereto as testing;
 
- The establishment and maintenance of statistics dangerous, unhealthy or obnoxious, for pressure vessels and lifting equipment,

- The administrative supervision and technical control of Transportation Systems for Hydrocarbons by Pipeline in conjunction with the relevant authorities.

It includes:

- Services Classified Establishments;
- Services Pressure Equipment,
- Services Pipeline Inspections.
 
Classified Establishments Service

Under the authority of a Head of Service, Service of Classified Establishments shall:

- The preparation of administrative acts relating to the establishment and operation of dangerous, unhealthy or institutions;
- The preparation of administrative acts relating to the approval of persons in control of dangerous, unhealthy or obnoxious;
- Participation in the development of regulations on hazardous, unhealthy or institutions;
- Public inquiries relating to the establishment and operation of dangerous, unhealthy or institutions;
- Studies on the risks of dangerous, safe or inconvenient;
- Internal intervention on industrial risks of dangerous, unhealthy or plans;
- The organization of inspections of establishments classified;
- For keeping the register of establishments classified
- The establishment and preservation of statistics classified establishments.
(2) It includes, in addition to the Head of Department, four (04) design engineers.
 
Pressure Equipment Service

Under the authority of a Head of Service, the Service Pressure Equipment is responsible for:

- Participation in the development of devices required on gas pressure and vapor pressure of water and lifting entation;
- Monitoring the development and enforcement of standards for pressure vessels and lifting equipment;
- The preparation of administrative acts relating to the approval of persons, inspections, appraisals and inspections of pressure vessels and gas steam and lifting equipment, as well as essays relating thereto;
- Technical control devices;
- Control of authorized persons;
- For keeping the register of pressure vessels and lifting
- The establishment and maintenance of statistics on those machines.

It includes also the Head of Service, two (02) Engineering Studies.
 
Inspection Pipelines Service

Under the authority of a Head of Department, the Pipeline Inspection Service is responsible for:

- The administrative supervision and technical control system oil transportation by pipeline;
- Technical advice on the studies for the establishment and the operation of transport systems Pipeline;
- The organization of the coordination of activities related to inspections and technical controls directly related to pipeline transport systems;
- Any investigation or expertise in case of an incident or accident in a transport system Pipeline
- The centralization and the use of technical information on the activities of transport Pipeline.

It includes, in addition to the Head of Service, two (02) Engineering Studies.
